Office Manager and General Manager


The Retail and Games Supervisor is part of the management team at William Beasley Enterprises responsible for the functioning of the Retail and Games Department.

Job Duties

  • Participates and leads employee orientation and training to develop and maintain customer service standards
  • Creates bi-weekly schedules with an eye to minimizing overtime and ensuring appropriate coverage
  • Submits schedules for appropriate approvals and posts in advance of deadlines
  • Resolves customer complaints in a timely and satisfactory manner maintaining a Customer-first focus, escalate complaints as required
  • Monitors inventory of required supplies (game prizes and retail inventory) and orders as required
  • Inputs daily inventory into Excel
  • Organizes and maintains all retail inventory sheets and ensures all item pricing is up to date
  • Records daily items sold on Excel spreadsheet
  • Performs daily games collections and reports results to Office Manager
  • Completes daily game tally sheets and reports to General Manager
  • Resolves any technical problems in both departments
  • Orders game prizes from approved vendors
  • Resolves cash discrepancies
  • Escalates unexplained discrepancies to Senior Management
  • Sets customer service standards for staff and monitors and maintains them
  • Answers/responds to telephone and email inquiries
  • Makes recommendations for improvements in policies and procedures as required with an eye to improving the customer or employee experience
  • Assists with First Aid when required
  • Follows all policies and procedures of Wm Beasley Enterprises Ltd
  • Adheres to all relevant legislation including, but not limited to, the Occupational Health & Safety Act (OHSA), the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA) and Employment Standards legislation


  • Previous cash handling experience
  • Previous supervisory experience
  • Organized and detail-oriented
  • Good computer skills – adept at Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Familiar with policies and procedures at Wm Beasley Enterprises
