Summary

The Host or Hostess is the ambassador of the restaurant. Will meet and greet all customers and take them to their tables and will inform them about our restaurant services. Assist guest with all and any questions and monitor the flow of customers throughout the restaurant. Centreville Amusement Park is a fantastic place for anyone who is looking for a workplace that is in an outdoors environment. We employee many students looking for summer employment, which makes for a great experience to meet new friends. We provide a flexible work schedule, for all employees. We are company that wants our employees to succeed and have fun, by hosting staff BBQs, Semi Formal at the end of the season and we also have a ferry pass that allows employees to get to and from work and that can also be used at other attractions in Ontario.

Job Duties:

• Monitoring the open dining sections of the restaurant for empty and cleaned tables.

• Estimating wait times for guests.
• Monitoring the guest waiting list.
• Ensuring that the needs of the guests are met while they are waiting.
• Preparing tables to accommodate large parties.

• Other duties as deemed necessary or as directed.

• Able to work flexible hours (evenings, weekends, holidays).
• Able to work under pressure.
• Proven job reliability, diligence, and dedication.
• Able to make quick and effective decisions.
• Able to follow verbal and written directions.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Able to handle stressful situations in a calm, professional manner.
